Crewe and Nantwich Talking Newspaper is expanding its reach to a wider audience – with help from Nantwich News.

Listening numbers have increased as a direct result of online listening options, says organiser John Coulter.

The service is now contacting all care homes across Cheshire East and providing details of the Talking Newspaper, and how to listen online.

Wendy Steadman, Cheshire East Council Visual Impairment Officer, is also helping to promote the Talking Newspaper, and IRIS have informed all their members of the online listening options.

Nantwich News provides its content for free to the Talking Newspaper to ensure as many people in care homes can listen as possible to the latest news, sport, what’s on and comments.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
