Whitlow Avenue car fire

Fire officers are probing what they call a “deliberate” car fire on a street in Nantwich.

Nantwich crews were called to the blaze on Whitlow Avenue, off Station View, at around 10.30pm last night (April 4).

“On arrival the crew found that a car had been deliberately set alight,” said Cheshire Fire Service.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, they then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.

The crew were on the scene for around two hours and 30 minutes.

Anyone with any in relation to the fire is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML-675081, or visit https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
