Nantwich Town scored two late goals to snatch a dramatic victory in the FA Cup first qualifying round at Ramsbottom United.

The Dabbers fell behind in the first half to an early 10th minute strike by Mark Drew.

And the 200 or so home supporters were sniffing a famous victory until Nantwich turned the tie on its head in the final three minutes.

Matt Bailey levelled the scores in th 87th minute, before Sean Cooke’s powerful free kick sealed victory in the final seconds.

Jimmy Quinn’s men will now face an eagerly-awaited second qualifying round clash with Northwich Victoria on Saturday October 1.
