Heavy overnight rain caused two Crewe Regional Sunday League games to be postponed and two others had to change venue.

In the Premier Division, the Faddiley pitch was again waterlogged, so the game against Willaston White Star was moved to the King George Vth playing field.

It appeared to be heading for a goalless draw until Willaston scored three times in the final three minutes.

Azharul Haque (2) and Aaron Clarke were the marksmen earning Willaston all three points.

The game between Betley and George and Dragon was a tight affair, settled by a first half penalty kick converted by Charlie Hatton.

In the game between the White Lions, it was White Lion Ford Lane who won 1-4.

Despite the first half being evenly matched, Ford Lane went in 0-3 ahead, thanks to goals from Danny Lavalette, Asher Moat and Dale Capper, and they could even afford to miss a penalty kick.

They added a fourth goal in the second half through Russel Schofield, with Brandon Mighten netting for White Lion.

In Division One, league leaders Bridge Inn went into a 2-0 lead against AFC Talbot thanks to goals from Josh Wynne and Owen Porter.

But two goals from Tom Butler seemed to have earned a draw for the fourth placed team.

However, Bridge Inn were awarded a penalty kick in the dying seconds.

Damian Sloan was called upon from the substitute’s bench and scored with the last kick of the game to give the visitors a 2-3 win.

Broadhurst FC have been finding results hard to come by of late and went down again 0-5 to Sydney Arms.

Regular scorers Ben Reddock and Aaron Davies both scored twice, with Olly Dunning also on target.

The Nantwich derby between Nantwich Pirates and Talbot, two of the three teams based at the Talbot Inn, proved to be an exciting affair.

Talbot have been in good form recently and started the day as joint leaders.

They took the lead but trailed 3-2 at half time.

They equalised in the second half, only to be beaten 4-3 thanks to a late winning goal from Anthony Broadhurst.

The Pirates’ other scorers were Brandon Broadhurst and Rory Saunders (2).

Joe Goodier, Jordan Bennion and Dan Jones scored for Talbot.

Sandbach Town were the other club who showed initiative in switching their fixture with White Horse to the King George Vth playing fields, after their normal venue was unplayable.

They beat White Horse 5-2, thanks to a Jamie Knowlson hat-trick, and further goals from Matt Timms and Joe Macdonald.

Dan Wade scored both goals for White Horse.

Audlem won 2-1 at Princes Feathers with goals from Andrew Betteley and Seb Burrow.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
