Crewe & Nantwich RUFC kick off their rugby campaign this Saturday when they welcome Vagabonds (Isle of Man) to the Vagrants.

And Crewe & Nantwich will be hoping to kick on from where they finished the 2010-11 season, as league champions and Cheshire Plate winners.

This season, they will be competing in the South Lancashire and Cheshire Division 2.

Saturday’s kick off has been mvoed forward by half an hour to 2.3opm on request of the visiting team.

Crewe will also be hoping to be put behind them last weekend’s 79-0 drubbing at the hands of Premiership powerhouses Sale in the Cheshire Bowl.

The 2nd team begin their campaign away at Didsbury in University of Salford Division 2 South, and the 3rds travel to Northwich in Division 4 South. The 4ths entertain Congleton at the Vagrants in Division 5 South, kick off 3pm.
