Division One Bridge Inn overcame Premier Division Willaston White Star on a penalty shoot-out in the first round of the Presidents Cup.

The sides drew 4-4 after extra time.

Damian Sloan (2), Curtis Rodgers and Dan Taylor scored for the Bridge Inn with Pawel Abramowicz (2), Danny Williams and Jason McMullen scoring for Willaston WS.

Broadhurst FC went through to the next round with a 4-3 win at Crewe & Nantwich Utd with a hat-trick from Danny Griffiths and a Ryan Millington goal. Alex Riley netted a hat-trick in reply.

Crewe Ath won 3-1 at White Lion with two goals from Luke Gillan and one from PJ Hudson.

Crewe Ath also scored an own goal at the other end.

Division One Talbot FC scored first at Premier Division NHB FC.

But any chances of a shock win were looking less as NHB FC recovered to lead 3-1 at half time.

Talbot then scored at the start of the second half before NHB established control and ran out 7-2 winners.

Brian Holland scored five times for NHB FC with other goals from Alex Ball and Lewis Neal.

Josh Cooke and Jordan Cottrell scored for Talbot FC.

White Lion FL had a comfortable 8-2 win over Audlem with Russ Schofield netting a hat-trick.

Other goals came from Jordan Allen (2), Danny May, Sean Chandler and Ben Durkin.

Azin Burcea and Andrew Betteley replied for Audlem.

The Old Star continued their good start to the season with a 9-4 win over Princes Feathers with goals from Tom Taylor (3), Joe Pointon, Jamie Cain, Calvin Abbott, Terry Cain, Elliot Booth and Owen Wynne.

Mark Cressey (2), Joe Standish and Bobby Brown replied for Princes Feathers.

In the Premier Division, Faddiley won 4-0 at Betley with Richard Ford scoring twice and other goals from Chris Stokes and an Adam Newton volley.

Salvador (Beggs 2, Jones 2, Stone 2, Pountain and an own goal) won 8-3 at Elworth Park (Duckers, Clarke and Goward).

In Division One, local rivals Nantwich Pirates and AFC Talbot met with AFC Talbot running out 4-2 winners.

Scorers for AFC Talbot were Matt Shaw, Dec Scott, Anthony Tinsley and Jamie Ollier with Brandon Broadhurst and Anthony Broadhurst scoring for the Pirates.

Sandbach Town won 2-1 at White Horse with two goals from Anthony Fidzewicz and a reply from Nick Gregory for White Horse.
