George & Dragon returned to winning ways in Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division with a 7-2 hammering of Willaston WS.

They won with a hat-trick from Ollie McDonough, and a brace each for Matt Waller and Robbie Hatton.

Danny Williams and Daniel Lomas scored for Willaston WS.

NHB FC registered their first win of the season with a 4-0 win over struggling White Lion.

Scorers were Adam Williams, Colin Watson, Frank Farrington and Andy Ward.

White Lion FL continued their good form with a 5-1 win over Salvador.

Russell Schofield and Asher Moat both scored two goals with Lewis Clark also scoring.

Salvador’s goal came from an own goal.

In Division One, The Old Star maintained their 100% record with a 5-3 win over Talbot with Terry Cain scoring four times with Shaun Cain also scoring.

Joe Goodier (2) and Jordan Benyon scored for Talbot.

Bridge Inn scored six second half goals as they beat Audlem 9-1.

Scorers were Owen Porter (3), Gary Pownall (2), Jack Gater (2), Jake Maunder and Sam Edler. Tom Capewell replied for Audlem.

AFC Talbot won 4-2 at Sandbach Town with goals from Matty Shaw (2), Paul Bowker and Chris Martin. Matt Simms and Tony Fidzewicz scored for Sandbach Town.

Broadhurst FC won 3-0 against Nantwich Pirates with gials from Chris Lawrence, Dan Griffiths and a Ryan Millington penalty.

Sydney Arms and White Horse shared 6 goals in a 3-3 draw.

Ben Reddock scored twice for Sydney Arms with Robbie Prince also scoring. Jonny Parkes (2) and Kayode Damali replied for White Horse.

C & N Utd got their first points of the season following a 6-4 win at Princes Feathers.

Scorers for C & N Utd were Alex Riley (3), Ryan Trevelyan 2 and Josh Clive. Joe Standish 2, Dean Richards and Adam Benson scored for Princes Feathers.

In the Staffs FA Sunday Challenge Cup, Betley FC lost 3-2 after extra-time to Halmerend in what turned out to be an eventful and highly contentious match.
