Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Shavington.

A stranger entered a house in Marshfern Place, Shavington, at around 2.10am today (September 25).

A few minutes later the man was disturbed by one of the occupiers and ran out of the house.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and detectives believe the man in the CCTV footage may be able to help with their investigation.

They are urging anyone who recognises him or thinks they may know who he is to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Steve Smith said: “We believe the man in the CCTV footage may have important information to help with our ongoing investigation.

“If you think you recognise him or know who he is please call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 193886, give us the details via https://cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV footage to get in touch.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
