Crewe District Writers' Circle - Writers Fair Flyer

Crewe District Writers’ Circle is to host a Fair at the Nantwich Baptist Church.

The Writers’ Fair is on September 29, from 10am to 4pm at the Market Street church.

Activities include a poetry workshop with laureate’s choice poet, Mark Pajak, and a script-writing work shop run by playwright and community arts activist, Julie Mckiernan.

The day will end with an open mike session and there will be refreshments including cakes and stalls throughout the event.

Stalls will include everything connecting with writing from individual writers and groups in the area to university courses and other activities.

There are a limited number of stalls available to any local groups connected with writing.

A spokesperson for the Crewe Writers’ group said: “There are many different writing activities and budding poets in the Crewe and Nantwich area.

“It is hoped that this day will bring them all together.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
