Premier Division leaders Square One edged closer to the title with a 5-1 win at Betley FC.

Goals from Andy Parkinson, Liam Murray, Shane Heron, Ryan Alcock and an own goal earned Square One the points.

Jordy Cottrell scored for Betley FC.

The result means that Square One need six points from their three remaining league games to secure the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier title.

White Lion FL and Crewe FC kept up the pressure with both securing a single goal victory.

White Lion FL beat NHB FC 1-0 with Chris Tomkinson scoring, while Crewe FC won 1-0 at Willaston WS with a Sam Roberts goal.

AFC Leopard and Crewe Ath shared four goals in a 2-2 draw.

Rich Ryan scored twice for AFC Leopard with Jordan Amson and Josh Clarke scoring for Crewe Ath.

Wistaston Ath won 4-0 at Salvador with goals from Aiden Horton (2), Aaron Shards and Ben Burrow.

In Division One, leaders Nantwich YF lost 2-0 to White Eagles whose scorers were Pawel Abramowicz and Lukasz Synowicz.

The teams below the leaders all took advantage with victories.

Talbot won 5-2 at Audlem to close the gap to one point with two games in hand.

Ben Reddock (2), Gaz Gordon (2) and Ant Broadhurst scored for Talbot with Mark Parker (2) scoring for Audlem.

Elworth Park hammered 11 goals past White Horse with Lee Saxton netting five times with Keiran Duckers (2), Danny Vickers (2), Jamie Knowlson and George Alcock also scoring.

Faddiley won 5-1 at Haslington with goals from Matt Scott, Mike Scott, Ash Lawton, Mark Cumberbatch and Rich Ford.
