Police and fire crews were called to a vehicle blaze in a field in Nantwich.

The incident happened shortly after 6.30pm last night (March 5) off Crewe Road.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to a car well alight in a field and used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.

They then used a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no hotspots.

Police were also in attendance.
