Taste Cheshire Food Drink Awards 2017 - 42

Voting is underway for the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards 2018.

People in Nantwich and Crewe can nominate their favourite establishment across the county, in categories that are most applicable.

Last year, the awards exceeded 45,000 votes, more than ever before.

And organisers can’t wait to see what happens over the next six weeks’ of voting.

Taste Cheshire events manager Briony Wilson said: “Over the past 19 years the awards have become overwhelmingly popular among voters, and can be seen by many as a benchmark of quality right across Cheshire.

“The food and drinking scene in our area has such a buzz to it and we believe our awards reflect the incredible standard on offer.

“Cheshire truly is The County of Food and Drink.

“At Taste Cheshire we are proud to be able to shout about our venues and to honour those at the pinnacle of their profession.”

To vote, go on line to www.tastecheshire.com and visit the awards page. Voting is free.

Only one voting form will register from each computer/device.

Voting finishes on March 2, and Taste Cheshire will then name four/five nominations in each category who will be mystery dined by industry judges.

Judges will then complete a report on each venue, which becomes available to the venue after the winners have been announced, showing how their business was judged.

The 2018 winners will be crowned at a gala dinner on April 4, which will be held at the Pavilion at Chester Racecourse.

Tickets for this night are £50 per person with a table of ten costing £450 and include a pre-dinner cocktail and a 4-course gala meal provided by Horseradish Catering.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
