vehicle fire Wrenbury Hall

Police and fire crews tackled a vehicle blaze close to Wrenbury Hall in Wrenbury.

The incident happened on Wrenbury Heath Road at around 5.15pm last night (November 25).

Officers closed the road while fire crews from Nantwich used a hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

Police later re-opened the road, and it’s not thought anyone was involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, fire crews were also called to Pear Tree Field in Stapeley, Nantwich, where a bin had been set on fire close to Stapeley community centre.

One Cheshire Fire and Rescue appliance attended from Audlem was sent to the incident at around 8.45pm last night.

Crews found small charring in the bin outside the community hall.

They smothered the fire with water to prevent further ignition.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
