Two men had a miracle escape from this wreckage after a car ploughed off the A534 near Nantwich and into a tree.

But Cheshire Police issued a warning after the incident in Bulkeley after arresting the driver on suspicion of drink driving.

Two men aged 19 and 20 were lucky to be alive after the incident and were taken to Leighton Hospital with only minor injuries.

Officers and paramedics were called to the incident at around 4.30am on Saturday (January 21)

A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “We were called shortly before 4.30am to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A534, Bulkeley.

“Emergency services attended the scene and two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken to Leighton hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.

“The driver of the vehicle was arrested for drink driving.”
