A packed audience at Nantwich Civic Hall enjoyed the town’s inaugural TEDxNantwich event.

The event took place at the Nantwich Civic Hall and featured a range of enthralling and informative presentations.

TEDxNantwich was organised by local volunteers including students from South Cheshire College and Reaseheath College, in Nantwich.

All talks were filmed to be uploaded to the TEDx YouTube channel.

Local businesses also had stalls at the event.

The day was organised by Melanie Howe, and speakers included Dr Jonathan Griffiths, Catherine Sandland, Sarah Short, Andrew Fewtrell, Philippa Richford, Sara Knowles, Andrew Thorpe, and Debbie Hayes.

Melanie said: “What an amazing afternoon!

“A big thank you to our fantastic speakers and all the volunteers who made today possible.”
