Youngsters at Brine Leas in Nantwich tuned up nicely for a musical instruments day.
The school’s music department staged the day to introduce Year 7 students to the joys of singing and playing instruments.
During the day, every student was given had the chance to handle and produce sounds from the small cornet to the trombone in the brass section.
They also played flutes and clarinets in the woodwind group, and played a tune together with violins, cellos and a double bass.
A school spokesperson said: “Playing an instrument not only develops individual skills, but can also give considerable enjoyment and enhance friendships when playing in groups.
“At the school, tuition is available in all instruments.”
Richard Cowen, brass tutor at Brine Leas, added: “It has been a fun day… a great opportunity to inspire students to play an instrument for themselves.”

Yes it’s soooo boring isn’t it?!! The design must have taken weeks to think up.
Yes, I dont know why but it almost makes the blazers look scruffy, as if they couldnt really care less.
The previous BLS logo with the shield looked far better than the current one I must say.
