A fine art exhibition by four local art groups will be held this weekend in Nantwich.
The event, at Nantwich Parish Rooms by St Mary’s Church, will see work from ARTSupport, Pastel Club, Wybunbury Art Group and Shavington Art Group.
There will be around 120 paintings on show with prices in a very wide range.
Organisers of the exhibition are Peter Hargreaves and local artist Katharine Laird (example work pictured, above)
Peter said: “We have run this exhibition at various venues for about ten years.
“Initially, with works just from ARTSupport and then from the other groups as they have started.”
Well-known art ‘forger’ John Myatt will formally open the exhibition.
Art exhibition on Friday and Saturday August 19-20, Friday 3pm-7pm and Saturday 10am–5pm.
