western avenue trauma incident

A Nantwich man has been taken to hospital after police were called to reports of  “threats to injure” at a house on Western Avenue.

Police and paramedics were called out at 12.45pm today to the quiet street close to Weaver Primary School.

Cheshire Police say they responded to a “concern for safety” call involving a 49-year-old man at a house on the street.

He has since been taken to North Staffordshire Trauma Unit.

It’s not been confirmed if anyone else was in the house at the time of the incident.

A police spokesman said: “Officers were called out to reports that a man was threatening to harm himself.

“It was a concern for safety call, and there were no firearms involved.

“Officers found a local man in a house. Since then, a 49-year-old has been taken to North Staffordshire Trauma Unit.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
