Brine Leas School in Nantwich opened its doors for a major careers convention to help students focus on their futures.
Representatives from commerce, industry and both Further and Higher Education attend the Audlem Road school’s annual Careers Convention.
The event was arranged to enable students from year 9 and above to research and question experts about the opportunities available for post 16 courses and employment.
Knowledge gained at the convention should help them to make choices for their individual programmes of study in upper school of Brine Leas.
Jo Morrison, who organised the event along with Isabel Cundy, said: “We are grateful to all the exhibitors for giving up their valuable time to advise our students.
“We were all impressed at the questions that were posed by each group of students.
“Hearing the information and advice directly from both employers and apprentices will certainly support them when making important options choices and career decisions in the future.”
