HMIC crime recording - Police officers in Operation Hatay in Cheshire

Cheshire Police has launched a recruitment drive to bring in 60 new officers.

The Constabulary are hoping to attract applications from those hoping to “give something back to their community”.

Successful applicants will be given full training.

A spokesperson said: “The role of a police officer is to reduce crime and the fear of crime.

“You will meet daily challenges, work part of a team as well as often operating independently, which means no two days will be the same.

“The training you receive will help you deal successfully with the variety of incidents officers face on a daily basis.

“Working in the police will also give you the opportunity to work in partnership with the public and other organisations to make a real difference to local communities.”

Those interested have until Friday January 22 to apply.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
