Railway Hotel have finally triumphed over Square One in the Crewe FA Sunday Cup – at the fifth time of asking.

The tie had been called off four times previously because of adverse weather conditions.

But it finally went ahead yesterday (January 10) with Railway winning 3-0 thanks to a brace from Matt Cope and a third from Greg Moore.

In the only Premier Division game surviving the weather, NHB won 3-1 at Leighton with goals from Nick and Dan Ball with Henry Buckley also scoring.

Robert Timmis replied for Leighton FC.

Again only one game survived in Division One and Crewe FC continued their improved form with a 5-1 win at Nantwich YF.

Richard Ford scored for Nantwich YF with Shane Wild (2), Louis Everall, Tom Darby and Ben Herbert scoring for Crewe FC.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
