Matches in the Crewe Regional Sunday League were once again hit by the wet weather, with only a handful of games played.

The outstanding Crewe FA Cup between Premier league high flyers Railway Hotel and Square One started but was abandoned after 60 minutes with the pitch unplayable.

The referee deemed the ball was not able to roll without getting stuck in water and mud.

In the only Presidents Cup game to survive, Betley FC won 3-2 at Ocean FC.

Oscar Beale scored two with Jamie Baker also scoring. Adie Socha got both Ocean goals.

In Division One, both Nantwich YF and Brunel Arms kept up the pressure on the leaders with Nantwich YF beating bottom club Market Tavern 10-1.

Rich Ford scored four times and there was a hat-trick from Jonny Proudlove. Other scorers were Dave Sherwin (2) and Brad Eardley.

Dan Griffiths netting for Market Tavern.

Brunel Arms won 3-1 at Crewe FC with goals from Dom Henson, Danny May and Jay Thomas. Danny Cartwright replied for Crewe FC.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
