Nantwich Mayor Councillor Andrew Martin has been dishing out tickets for the town’s youngsters to see Santa’s Rusty Robot.
Cllr Martin has used his ward budget to fund children from Nantwich to attend the show.
Four other Nantwich Town councillors – Arthur Moran, Norma Simpson, Penny Butterill, and Stuart Bostock – have followed suit.
Community ward budgets are given to each councillor to allow greater freedom to work with communities on the priorities that matter most to each.
Cllr Martin said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to give something back to the community.
“I’m proud to be supporting the schools for the second year running and it’s great to see children at such a young age interacting with this live production.”
St Anne’s Catholic Primary, Millfields Primary School, Highfields Primary School and Nantwich Primary Academy will join Weaver Primary School at Santa’s Rusty Robot between December 5 and 9.
They will also get the chance to meet Santa and receive individual presents.
Santa’s Rusty Robot is brought to Nantwich Civic Hall by the producers of the successful 2014 Santa’s Dizzy Day.
It has been written by Iain Lauchlan, well-known for his Tweenies scripts.
The show includes fun characters, favourite action songs, a great story and a chance to meet Santa and get a present from him.
Anyone wanting to buy tickets for the Rusty Robot shows, can do from the Civic Hall.
Tickets are £10 adults, £12 children (including present), and £40 for a family ticket.
