zoe lyons, comedy night Nantwich

‘The Very Best In Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on November 6 with four more top acts from the UK comedy circuit.

And this night will see a Nantwich debut for Zoe Lyons, a stand out on the British comedy scene for over 10 years.

Headlining clubs across the country, Zoe has appeared in many TV shows including Mock the Week, The Wright Stuff, Michael McIntyre Roadshow and many more.

Another act making a Nantwich debut is Ireland’s own Keith Farnan.

He has appeared on BBC’s Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow as well as adapting his own comedy documentary for RTE, Money, Money, Money: Keith Farnan versus the Economy.

Keith recently topped an outstanding 18 months by appearing at the Montreal Just For Laughs All Access show for the Canadian Comedy Network.

His four Edinburgh Festival shows proved a powerful mix of the personal and the political and have sold out their runs at major comedy festivals in the UK.

Next up is the return of top gag-man Dan Evans.

For over a decade, Dan’s accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences.

He’s appeared on BBC 2’s ‘Brain Candy’, ‘Channel 5 at The Store’ and the Channel 5 ‘Comedy Zone’, Radio 2’s ‘Stand Up Show’ and ’28 acts in 28 minutes’ on Radio 4.

Compere for the evening is Michael Legge – a multiple award-winner and recognised on the comedy circuit as one of the unsung heroes of British comedy.

Michael has performed in Edinburgh to great acclaim with shows Free Wifi and What A Shame.

His most recent Edinburgh show, ‘Tell It Like It Is, Steve’, received five 4-Star reviews.

The show takes place next Friday November 6, and tickets are on sale at £10 from the Civic Hall or online via www.civiccomedy.co.uk

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
