Kevin Smith, Nantwich fireman with long service award

A Nantwich fireman has picked up his long service award after more than 20 years in the service.

Kevin Smith, 56, started his career as a retained firefighter in 1994.

Now he has received Cheshire Fire Service long service good conduct medal, which is issued by Royal Warrant.

Nantwich station manager John Mcdermott is pictured here presenting Kevin with his medal during a drill night in front of his colleagues at the Beam Street station in Nantwich.

“Kevin is still a great friend and part of the crew to be around with,” said John.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
