Champions - Crewe & Nantwich U12s girls

The under 12s Crewe and Nantwich girls team have been crowned champions after winning their league.

The youngsters finished in top spot in the Cheshire Girls football under 12s Inter league 2015.

Delighted manager Mark Read said: “I am so proud of all the girls this season.

“They have all improved so much while having a lot of fun which is what it’s all about!

“Well done Girls!”

Now the team, which plays its home games at Moss Farm Sports Complex Northwich, is crying out for more players to join the club, which trains every Wednesday at Shavington Soccer Centre.

New players aged 10-13 can go along and meet new friends and learn new skills.

Training sessions run 6pm-7pm on Wednesdays. It is £3 per session, but the first three sessions are FREE.

The club was founded in 1996 when Ian Kemp set up a local under 12s team and became a co founder of the Cheshire Girls Football League.

Crewe and Nantwich Girls Football Club is now the largest girls football club in the area.

It has five teams in the Cheshire Girls Football League competing, from under 10s to under 16s.

It also links into the Crewe Alexandra Ladies set up to provide a pathway for players to reach the senior ladies team.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
