Cheshire Wildlife Trust is to stage an evening with Bob Flowerdew in Nantwich next month.
Bob Flowerdew is well known to listeners of Gardeners’ Question Time and followers of Gardeners’ World.
And on Friday May 15, the wildlife trust will offer gardeners a chance to pick up
tricks of the organic gardening trade from the leading horticulturist at Nantwich Civic Centre.
During his talk, which starts at 7.30pm, Bob will highlight ‘no work gardening’, explaining ways to reduce chores and grow more flowers, fruit and produce with much less work.
Born and bred in East Anglia, he is one of the country’s leading organic gardeners and broadcasters.
Along with numerous television and radio appearances, he is also a lecturer in horticulture and runs his own landscape consultancy.
He’s written more than half a dozen gardening advice books.
Event organiser Tracey Gibson, the trust’s membership development officer, said: “We’re really delighted to be hosting this evening with Bob Flowerdew – he’ll have plenty of wisdom to pass to beginners and experts alike.
“We’re also looking forward to hearing his tips on what people can do to make their gardens more wildlife friendly, something that is really important area for the trust.”
