March is shaping to be a hectic month at Nantwich Civic Hall, with a host of events lined up.

It all starts on March 1, with the Nantwich Annual Spring Vintage Festival & Retro Lifestyle event.

The day features entertainment from multi-talented Eddie Martin and his Rhythm Cruisers performing the best Rock ‘n’ Roll, Jump Jive & Western Swing Hits from the decades.

It will also feature Lindy Hop & Swing Jive demonstrations from the Backstep Boogie Club, plus a line-up of retro DJs.

You can also discover retro desirables, gifts and treats for all tastes from the best traders.

Sandwiches, snacks, cakes and treats available throughout the day.

Admission is £3, free admission for under 12s, must be accompanied by an adult.

The Mind, Body and Spirit Fair makes a welcome return on Saturday and Sunday March 7-8.

It will feature more than 40 stands of complementary therapists, unique crystals, gemstone jewellery, flutes, drums, clothing, health products and more.

New to the Civic Hall is Cheekie Monkeys BIG Baby and Children’s Market on Saturday March 14, 10am to 12 noon.

Parents looking for bargains can save up to 90% on pre-loved goods.

A night of opera takes place on Monday March 16 with Heritage Opera’s performance of La Traviata Verdi, starring internationally-renowned baritone Tom McVeigh, who will sing the part of Giorgio Germont.

Sung in Italian with English Subtitles, tickets are £20.

The Cheshire Wedding Exhibition will be staged at the hall on Sunday March 22.

More than 30 exhibitors will offer clothing to flowers, accessories to cakes and even a catwalk.

Ending a packed month will be Todd Miller and the Joe Loss Orchestra (pictured) performing at The Mayor’s Charity Dance on Friday March 27, 8pm – 12.30am.

Tickets are £15.

Other events include The Very Best In Stand-Up Comedy on Friday March 6, Monday March 9 for Nantwich Film Club, Ceroc Freesytle Social Dance on Saturday March 14, and Thursday March 19 welcomes back the V&A Antiques and Collectors Fair.
