League One side Wistaston Ath continue to defy the odds as they beat Premier Division neighbours Willaston WS in Crewe FA Sunday Cup.

Wistaston progressed thanks to goals from Jordan Smith (2) and Leo Davies.

Ben Burrow pulled a goal back with a penalty for White Star but it was not enough.

Premier Division leaders Railway Hotel eased through to the next round, beating Division One Sandbach Town 4-0 with goals from Danny Lavalette (2), Karl Gibbs and Greg Moore.

Sandbach Town’s cause wasn’t helped by a first-half sending off.

FC Semtex beat rivals Crewe Ath 2-1 with goals from Capper and Parker, with Sinnott replying for Crewe Ath.

In the Presidents Cup, Bank Corner and Rising Sun couldn’t find the net in 120 minutes of football so it went to a penalty shoot-out, which Bank Corner won 5-4.

Meanwhile, in the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier Division Sydney Arms and NHB drew 2-2 in an excellent and sporting game.

A NHB player scored a goal which could have been the winner, but then told the referee to disallow the goal as the admitted he had hand-balled it.

NHB led 1-0 at half time but Sydney responded with two second half goals before NHB levelled with a last minute penalty.

Craig Hill and Vinny Pownall scored for Sydney with Dan Ball and Sam Lloyd replying for NHB.

AFC Barkode beat AFC Leopard 4-3 with goals from Stagis (2), Taylor and Davis with Blundell (2) and Hassell replying for FC Leopard.

In Division One, Salvador were surprisingly held to a 3-3 draw at bottom club Audlem, Salvador scorers were Danny Lloyd (2), and Keiron Banks.

Audlem’s first point of the season came with goals from Pete Jones, Andrew Betteley and Dan Searle.

Faddiley and Leighton shared eight goals in a frantic match where the lead changed hands several times.

Faddiley must have thought they would win when they led 4-2 but Leighton fought back to grab a point.

Joey Hylton (2), Ash Lawton and Leigh Beresford scored for Faddiley with Danny Rogerson (2), Jack Buchanan and Liam Walker replying for Leighton.

Crewe FC won 2-0 at Boot & Shoe Villa with goals from Jason Riley and Rob King.
