A 28-year-old pedestrian involved in a collision with a car late at night on Mill Street in Crewe has died.
The collision involved a Black Volkswagen Golf and happened shortly before midnight on Mill Street close to its junction with Union Street pn Saturday, December 27.
The male victim, from Crewe, suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
Cheshire Police have now confirmed he died of his injuries last night (Monday December 29).
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses of the collision, or sightings of the vehicle or pedestrian prior to the collision.
