A missing person was found in Nantwich after an extensive police search.

The force helicopter was heard above the Stapeley and Audlem Road area of the town for around an hour late last night (December 10).

Today, Nantwich officers confirmed they were called out to a missing man who they “had concerns for”.

Sgt Richard Tomlinson, of Nantwich Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “We called out the helicopter to look for a missing person we had concerns for.

“He had last been seen running off into fields.

“The helicopter is the most efficient way of searching large areas, especially at night using infra-red cameras.”

The man was found by a Nantwich patrol at around midnight, safe and well.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
