Heritage opera, Passion for Christmas

Heritage Opera is in Nantwich to stage a festive performance at St Mary’s Church.

Their “Passion for Christmas” show will include seasonal operatic arias, carols, and classic songs.

And they will also blend with well-loved festive tunes to get the audience in the Christmas mood.

The concert will feature music by Handel, Johann Strauss II, Puccini, Mel Tormé, Cornelius, Massenet, Michael Head, Berlioz and Roger Quilter, and songs made famous by stars like Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, and Mario Lanza.

“Passion for Christmas will thrill you with beautiful music, sung by four professional opera singers, accompanied by pianist Benjamin Cox,” said a Heritage Opera spokeswoman.

The concert takes place this coming Monday December 1, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets £19/£17 concs/£5 under 16s, NUS and JSA.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
