Twelve months ago, Harry Johnson and Justin Williams were producing “Fawlty Towers” at a school in Nantwich.

Now they are about to crown an amazing year when their latest show “Bouncers” opens in the West End of London.

And in an interview with Nantwichnews, the duo revealed how the “crazy” rise from Malbank School has stunned them.

Harry said: “It’s crazy just to think that a year ago we were in a local area doing a show in a small town but and now were in London.”

“It’s a bit scary,” added Justin.

“It’s exciting and all a bit crazy at the same time, we would never have guessed a year ago that we would be doing this now.

“We decided to do ‘Fawlty Towers’ at Malbank School as our last directing job together before we went to university.

“But when we got to London we found we had the opportunity to work together again. It’s an amazing opportunity which we didn’t anticipate.

“We had a strong team together in Nantwich but we didn’t have that in London.

“We started to approach people and told them of our ambitions and asked if they wanted to be involved, and madly they said yes!

“We realise this is going to be a challenge, but everything is looking good and the audience feedback and Facebook messages are really positive.”

Harry acted in “Fawlty Towers” last year and also performed in “The Priory” the year before for Nantwich Players.

“It’s hard work. ’Bouncers’ has four main actors who play up to 20 different characters between them,” he added.

“You have to do a lot of character research, so it’s four times as much work than a normal play.”

“Bouncers” is the comic and moving story of giggly girls getting ready for a night out, lads on the pull, university students, and a dodgy German movie.

With kebabs, handbags and moving stories of life as they see it, John Godber’s international comedy hit promises to move you as much as it will have you rolling in the aisles.

The production raises money for Prostate Cancer UK and aims to donate each evening to the charity.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
