Police are warning villagers around Nantwich after a series of house burglaries over the last few days.
Burglars have struck at properties in Wybunbury, Haughton, Peckforton, Bickerton and Croxton Green in the last 48 hours.
Nicholas Jarvis, PCO for Nantwich Neighbourhood Police Unit, said most burglaries took place during the day time when properties were empty.
“We urge you to make sure your property is secure at all times,” he said.
“Contact the police on 101 if you have any information or if you see anything suspicious.”
Residents should call 999 if they see a crime in progress.
