It was chocolate heaven when more than 400 Easter eggs were delivered to youngsters across Nantwich and Crewe.

Richmond Village and Sainsbury’s Nantwich staff played Easter bunny for children at The Wingate Centre, Leighton Hospital Children’s Ward and Crewe Women’s Refuge.

The eggs were donated by residents at Richmond Nantwich, Sainsbury’s customers, The Cat Community Radio Station and Custom Powders in Crewe.

And they have been bringing plenty of smiles to the faces of children in the local area.

Kerry Coles, operational manager at Crewe Women’s Refuge, said: “Thank you so much.

“This will make a huge difference to the families that we work with this Easter.”

Lynne Griffin, village manager at Richmond Village, added: “This is the fourth year we have collected Easter eggs and we are always overwhelmed by the generosity of people.

“Thank you to everyone who gave an egg to this Appeal.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
