The Cat Community Awards have helped to raise more than £600 for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice

Money raised at the awards presentation night was donated to the  hospice which cares for patients and families across Nantwich and Crewe.

StLuke’s was nominated to receive the funds by the award’s independent judge, Crewe & Nantwich MP Edward Timpson.

Jessica Wilks-Reading, from St Luke’s, visited The Cat studios off Beam Heath Way in Nantwich to collect a cheque for £620 from Claire Faulkner and station mascot Twichy.

Jessica also had a tour of the studios and a sit behind the desk in Studio 1 as Claire explained how things worked.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
