The Very Best In Stand Up is back at Nantwich Civic Hall on March 7 with another four top comedians on the bill.
Compere and host is St Helens’ own Dave Twentyman.
Dave’s chatty, cheeky style endears him to the toughest of crowds and he is a performer at top venues every weekend.
The first act of the night is seasoned pro Dave Williams, making his Nantwich debut.
Dave’s comedy has taken him all over the world – from Dublin to Dubai, Singapore to Sydney.
He is a real veteran on the comedy circuit, amassing thousands of gigs in over 15 years.
Second up is Nick Doody, whose career as a stand-up comedian got off to a pretty good start when he supported Bill Hicks on his final tour of the UK… at Bill’s request!
A finalist in the 1999 So You Think You’re Funny new act competition, Nick has gone on to be a familiar face on the comedy circuit, headlining shows wherever he goes.
He also writes for shows like BBC4’s Late Edition and Channel 4’s FAQ U, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Friday Night Live.
Closing act for March’s show is Rob Deering (pictured) – a stand-up comedian and guitar wizard.
Rob exploded on to the comedy scene in 2000, reaching the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award semi-finals, the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award and the final of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Competition.
He also won the prestigious Amused Moose New Talent Award, and 2001 brought further success with Rob hosting the legendary Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival.
In Spring 2013 he toured with his latest solo show The One – a one man rock/pop extravaganza – his fourth sell-out UK tour.
The show takes place on Friday March 7, tickets are £10 available from Nantwich Civic Hall and www.civiccomedy.co.uk
Doors 7.15pm, show 8.15pm.
