Nantwich Litter Group will start 2014 by tackling litter problems made worse by Christmas festivities and stormy weather.
Two “Group Picks” are planned, the first this Saturday January 18 at 10am on the corner of Beam Street by the One Stop shop.
The other is on Wednesday January 29 at 10am, meeting at Nantwich Civic Hall steps.
Both sessions will last for about one hour followed by refreshments.
The group, which now has 75 volunteers helping regularly, was praised earlier this week by Nantwich Town Council.
Nantwich Mayor Cllr John Lewis: “The group does an absolutely incredible job in helping to keep the town clean and looking nice.”
Anyone wishing to lend a hand will be welcome and equipment can be provided.
