Thirty youngsters enjoyed the annual fishing competition organised by Nantwich Police.

PCSOs Nick Jarvis, Sharon Jones and Stuart Mortimer organised the event which took place at Coole Acre Fisheries, on Coole Lane, Nantwich.

And the town’s Sainsbury’s store on Middlewich Road chipped in as well – by providing lunches for all the youngsters and police who took part.

The aim of the event is to provide youngsters aged 10 to 16 with summer activities and a chance to get to known their local officers.

Nick Jarvis, at Nantwich Police, said it had been a great success and Sainsbury’s has agreed to sponsor it next year.

Prizes were up for grabs as well as free gifts from sponsors and supporters of the event.

Other supporters of the event included Coole Acres Fisheries, Stapeley Angling, JK Angling, and The Crown Hotel in Nantwich.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
