Blyth FA Cup - Nantwich Town's Weaver Stadium, pre-season games, community football

Nantwich Town supporters are being asked to help spruce up Weaver Stadium in time for the new 2013-14 season.

The club’s annual close season tidy up will take place this weekend July 6 and 7.

And a working party is needed to help organise the tidy up and get it ready for the big kick off.

“We’d be very grateful to everyone who can come along and lend a hand,” said Steve Talbot, the club’s facilities director.

“There will be all the usual jobs – weeding, painting, wiping down and so on.

“We have a big friendly match against Crewe Alex the following Saturday so obviously we want the ground looking at its best for that.”

Volunteers are asked to turn up at the ground at any time from 10am and to bring gardening gloves and equipment such as hoe or rake.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
