Oxfam shop in Nantwich - bird book donation

A Nantwich shopper has donated thousands of CDs and books to the town’s Oxfam store in Pepper Street.

The huge bequest was made by a long-standing customer of the shop, which specialises in music and literature.

Among the haul is a large number of CDs of fantastic quality.

And after a lot of work, staff have now opened an extended music section containing over 1,500 CDs covering all genres from Classical to Rock and Jazz.

“Over the next weeks we will also be adding to the section a large amount of collectable vinyl,” said shop manager Val Richards.

Anyone at all interested in music should pop in, which also has a good range of sheet music and DVDs.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
