A51 Bypass crash

A man was cut free from wreckage after a road accident on the A41 in Bunbury, near Nantwich.

The driver was flown to hospital by air ambulance after his car hit power lines and overturned on Whitchurch Road.

He was left trapped inside the saloon car and fire crews from Winsford and Chester had to cut him free.

Electricity staff were also called out to isolate the power cables, and the A41 was closed as the rescue took place.

The incident happened at about 5pm on Friday May 10.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
