The finale of ‘Strictly Learn to Dance 2013’ in Nantwich proved a big hit.

Seventeen couples took to the dance floor at Nantwich Civic Hall.

And they showed off their sprightly steps during the final of an event which could raise £15,000 for St Luke’s Hospice.

The couples have learnt to dance Salsa and Tango with Mark Birchenough over the past 11 weeks.

They performed in front of judges and an audience of more than 300 people on Sunday night.

Tim Richardson, from Bentley Motors, and Claire Langston, lottery manager at St Luke’s Hospice, took the compere roles of ‘Bruce’ and ‘Tess’ on the evening.

And Mark Birchenough and Andrew Kevan were the judges.

Susan Whitfield and Ray Pond (Couple 4) won the Audience Award.

Rachel Kibble White  and Tim Clarke (Couple 2) won the Judges Award.

All participants received a medal.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
