Nantwich Town were dumped out of the Doodson Sports Cup, losing 3-1 at home to lower league Curzon Ashton.

In front of just over 100 fans, the Dabbers’ dubious home form slumped once again.

Matthew Kay put the visitors in front on 17 minutes, and Curzon doubled their advantage just 10 minutes later through Saul Henderson.

Nantwich skipper Darren Moss once again dragged his side back into the game on 35 minutes.

The hosts huffed and puffed after the break in search of a leveller, with new signing Tom Bentham looking impressive.

Si Everall and sub Kyle Wilson also worked hard to carve out chances, but to no avail.

And it was Curzon who punished Jimmy Quinn’s men when they raced away with a few minutes left to bag a third through Matthew Dell to seal the win.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
