“Skating has been going really well so far and I’m learning something new everyday, which is great. I’ve had a lot of falls but you need those to learn the skills, so I’m getting used to it!
“I will continue to train for gymnastics and keep my body in shape throughout the show, which will also help me with my routines on the ice.
“I’ve had fantastic support throughout my career from all the amazing gymnastics fans, and I hope that will continue whilst I’m on Dancing on Ice with my partner Dan Whiston.”
Skaters will perform live each week to win the approval of the judges and compete for the title of Dancing on Ice Champion 2013.
The series will be presented by Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, and Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean helping to train the skaters.
