Nantwich Town face a tough derby test tomorrow when Stafford Rangers visit the Weaver Stadium.

The hotly anticipated clash has added spice with ex-Rangers forward Si Everall returning to Nantwich just three weeks ago.

Last season’s fixture saw Nantwich turn out one of their best performances of the season as they cruised to a 2-0 victory.

The Dabbers lie in 8th place in the Evo-Stik Premier Division, three points behind the playoff places.

It will be Stafford’s first league game in two weeks after a treble of cup victories has seen them advance to the First Round Proper of the FA Trophy.

Rangers’ league form has been riddled with inconsistency. After impressive victories at Worksop and home to Chorley, Greg Clowes’ side have lost at home to Grantham and at Blyth.

They’ve also racked up the most draws in the league – six of their opening 15 games.

The game also marks the 20-year anniversairy of when Nantwich Town Director of Football Clive Jackson took on the role of first team mananger following Peter Ward’s resignation.

Jackson, who masterminded the club’s progression up the non-league pyramid, is delighted with the club.

He said: “The club has achieved a great deal over the last 20 years and I’m very proud to have been part of it.

“I’m indebted to a great many people who have given great support to me in what we have achieved at Nantwich Town.

“I can’t believe the 20 years have passed so quickly and I’m looking forward to us all working together to continue the club’s progression in the years ahead.”

Kick-off tomorrow (November 17) is 3pm. Tickets are priced adults £9, concessions £6, £2 under 16s.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
