Nantwich Museum

Nantwich Museum is taking part in the annual Big Draw festival.

The Pillory Street venue is staging a free drop in event between 10.30am and 4pm on Saturday October 20.

Participants will have the chance to draw figures dressed in period costumes or one of the specially starred items in the museum’s collection.

All materials are free and artists will be on hand to give expert advice.

The Big Draw is organised by the charity The Campaign for Drawing.

It aims to get everyone sketching by raising the profile of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement.

The event at the museum has also been supported by Cheshire East Council.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
