Brine Leas School, Nantwich

Brine Leas School in Nantwich is set to host around 250 primary school students from Crewe and Nantwich at its annual “Activity Day”.

Children will take part in a wide range of activities, from kite-making to sweet making, science to technology.

The day is designed to give year 5 and 6 pupils an introduction to secondary school life before they make the transition.

The event will be followed by the main Open Day on Wednesday October 10.

The school will be open on Wednesday from 9.15a.m to midday, and again from 1.30pm  to 3.15pm.

In the evening, headteacher Andrew Cliffe will address visitors at 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

The main school and the new post 16 block BL6 and its impressive new facilities will be open until 8.30pm.

Students, parents and anyone from the community can attend.
