Road victim Ryan Adamson

A 71-year-old has been charged in connection with the road accident which killed Nantwich man Ryan Adamson.

Liverpool fan Ryan, 25, (pictured) was working near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire when the accident happened.

The former Weaverham School pupil died after being struck by a vehicle along Cockpit Road, in Great Kingshill, in March this year.

Thames Valley Police said Philip Nicholson, 71, of Oak Tree Drive, Lane End, has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.

He has been released on bail to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on October 9.

Three other men were arrested as part of the investigation but have been released without charge.

Ryan was born in Nantwich in 1986 where he grew up with his brothers and sisters in a large family. He was on a work placement at the time of the fatal accident.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
