Plans a for controversial 600-home development in Stapeley, Nantwich, will come under the spotlight again next week.
And now updated “Nantwich South” proposals include a new village school to cater for hundreds more families.
Muller Property Group are staging a second public exhibition of their “Nantwich South” plans for the development in fields bordered by Peter de Stapleigh Way, Audlem Road and London Road.
Muller bosses say they have listened to feedback from their first round of public exhibitions four months ago.
Much criticism centred around lack of school places, with Stapeley’s two primary schools Pear Tree and Broad Lane C of E already over-subscribed in almost every year group.
Other concerns raised included the impact on road infrastructure as well as lack of other public services.
Now Muller’s updated plan shows a site for a new primary school as part of a new Village Centre, with more open space play areas, and communal sport and recreation sites. An allotment site for residents has also been added.
Residents are urged to view the plans on show at Nantwich Methodist Church on Monday July 9, from midday to 7pm.
People can also register their views immediately after the exhibition when Nantwich Town Council stages its monthly meeting in Brookfield Hall from 7pm.
